Great Players

David Hirst: Hirst is without doubt a cult hero with the Sheffield Wednesday club, he signed from Barnsley in the year 1986 and made a huge impact at the club during his 12 years with them, helping them win the league cup in 1991 and reaching the FA Cup and league cup final of 1993. His goals kept the Owls riding high in the premiership and he went on to make over 300 appearances for Wednesday during his successful era at the club.
